How does a mechanical watch adjust the time?

With the continuous improvement of people's living standards, more and more people like to wear mechanical watches. A mechanical watch is not only a timing tool, but also an accessory that can better reflect the wearer's identity, status and demeanor. So, how does a mechanical watch adjust the time?

1. Do not adjust the date between 22:00 and 2:00, it is easy to cause damage to the watch and incorrect calendar jumps.

2. In order to prolong the service life of the watch, many watches use the slow jump method, that is, the time period around midnight is gradually jumped. Generally, it is normal to complete the jump before 2:00 in the morning, and some watches do not even complete until 4:00 in the morning.

3. It can be adjusted if the calendar jumps during the day - if you find that the calendar jumps around noon during the day, it is usually 12 hours faster/slower on the watch. For example, it is 11 am now, but the watch is 11 pm the day before. This situation is relatively common, with about a 50% chance.

4. Generally, the watch needs to turn the crown clockwise when adjusting the time, do not turn the crown counterclockwise. Turning the crown counterclockwise can easily cause the deviation of the pointer of the watch (the two-hand quartz should be dialed counterclockwise). It should be noted that if it is worn on the left hand and adjusted with the right hand, the forward rotation is clockwise.

5. Different styles of watches have different adjustment methods, but when adjusting watches with a calendar function, you need to consider the factors of morning and afternoon.
